Tēnā koe!

Building your mihi is one of the first things people are often interested in when it comes to learning and/or engaging with te reo Māori. But where to start?

We've put together some kōrero to offer different ways to mihi to maunga, awa, hapū and iwi, and to include your mōkai/pets. These kōrero are available as free downloads - and we encourage you to use them personally, as well as feeling free to offer them to others (even better if you can send them here so they have some of the context/kōrero we offer).

Please remember, your mihi is an introduction of YOU. There is no one 'right' way to do it - so if the reo we offer here doesn't resonate with you, please don't feel obliged to use it.

If you have a go crafting your mihi with some of these resources, we'd love to hear how you get on in the comments below.

Ngā mihi nui
